My work has moved from precise watercolour illustration, as a former botanical illustrator, to digital photocollage, photography,  oil painting and some textile work.

I explore the intersection of abstraction and the accidental beauty found in everyday moments and embrace the unpredictable nature of chance, blurring the line between representation and abstraction and molding them into a theme.  

The ‘conversation’ with my work is a partnership of intuition and the rational.  I thrive on diversity of expression which reflects some of life’s multifaceted nature and hope to evoke a sense of curiosity and reflection on the different ways we interpret and engage with the world around us.
